On October 25, Gerd Gigerenzer was awarded the "Deutschen Psychologie-Preis 2011" (German Psychology Prize 2011) at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin. This prize honours his outstanding achievements in the fields of decision making and risk research.
