Every "normal" flu epidemic causes far more deaths than did last winter's swine flu pandemic. Andreas Sperling, news editor for the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR), comments on how the swine flu is being dealt with and helps put the number of deaths recently caused by the virus in Germany into the right context – instead of spreading a new wave of panic.
